Cookies and Sunday set Up

Today  I headed to my mom’s for a bar-b-que and some quality family time. Ben and I stopped at a local market for some authentic Mexican food first.

You can enjoy them make tortillas and get them hot off the press! They had samples too. Fact: stores with samples are superior.

I don’t even know Camiseta FC Tokyo what this is…

Oh wait, it’s a Chayote. I must have known that. Not really.

Don’t worry though, I absolutely know what every Camiseta Manchester United single one of these are – delicious (pan dulce).

We got Camiseta Corinthians Paulista a whole spread of food including shrimp ceviche and salsa to opt for our fresh tortillas.

Ben grilled bell peppers, chicken and corn. I made brown rice and black beans seasoned with butter and salt. love beans and rice!

Roxy tapped her tail while we ate outside. She was very impatient for a walk.

Then, we went on a very windy walk. Wow. The Santa Ana winds are no joke today! we all got pelted with twigs and leaves from the gusts.

I am on a drinking bender. and by drinking, I indicate junk food. I was on a mission to eat chocolate chip cookies when we got back. Unfortunately, I made them with apple sauce instead of butter and they were just okay. I still ate 3, but wish I would have made them “legit”. Craving not satisfied.

After 3 cookies, ice cream and a ton of other random tortillas and bites today I really need Sunday set up to get me back on track.

Last week’s review:

Exercise:

Sunday: easy 4 miler – Done

Monday: 8 miles – Done

Tuesday: KB or Body Blast & abs – A strength work out instead

Wednesday: 6 miles with 3 at tempo pace – Nope. I did 4 in the morning and 2 later, but none of it was fast.

Thursday: Body Blast or KB – KB.

Friday: 6 miles or gym (depends on when I’m working) – 6 miles

Saturday: group run/walk – Done.

Eating: plan dinners and snacks for the week. No snacking in kitchen outside of meals. Track eats (got a book from work that I’ll be asking clients to use and want to try it before I’m recommending it).

I had a few bad days of snacking and they set the ball rolling in the wrong direction. I didn’t track my eats either. but I’m dusting it off and moving forward!

To Do: Make a schedule for work and personal stuff. It’s all blending together and I’ve been staying on the computer with blog stuff and writing very late for a while now.

What I did: spent some good time cleaning this weekend, but have a lot to organize.

Overall: exercise was good but food needs work.

Monday: half Marathon

Tuesday: Abs and 3 mile walk at the beach

Wednesday: Body Blast or Cycle

Thursday: 4 miler, Abs

Friday: Cycle or Body Blast

Saturday: half Marathon

Eating: focus on Intuitive Eating, anxiety levels and energy. I’ve been eating a lot out of fatigue and anxiety lately. plan dinners and snacks (when I don’t have a plan I def overdo it randomly). I will be blogging ALL my snacks for this week (starting tomorrow considering that I didn’t today). Track eats in my lil’ notebook.

Life: spend time catching up on my ridic inbox each day. spend time organizing papers at home.

Tomorrow morning I am headed to San Francisco for a day long round table about a new weight loss prescription pill (not for me to take, only for my thoughts). Not sure how much I can share about it – but I’ll share what I can later.

From SF I’m headed to nyc for a whole Foods event.

Then, I come home Thursday. Aaand head to Los Olivos Friday night for the 30 mile race Saturday morning. I’m very stressed because everything is timed so closely Camiseta UNAM Pumas I hope there are no travel mishaps. but I’m going to just try and choose the flow and not worry about things I can’t control. <- Pray. Wish me luck! Fat Talk Talk Stop saying you’re fat! I am not the girl who complains she looks fat to other people because I actually used to be fat. It used to make me unpleasant when my high school pals would complain about their (cute little) bodies. I mean, if they’re thinking those things about themselves – what should they be thinking about me?! At the same time, I don’t mind the word “fat”. I’ve been called worse things and I kinda like it as an adjective in general. But, this short article says no one Likes a Fat Talker So whether you are fat or skinny or bloated or ate a whole pizza or shrunk your jeans – DON’T say imply things about yourself. It doesn’t help you feel better or make the people around you think highly of you. I know it’s hard. we all have bad days. but the next time you feel gross, put something on that makes you feel good, call your best pal and put on some Amy Schumer jokes. SkinnyRunner suggested McD’s for coffee instead of the ‘bucks so I gave it a whirl. Um. I’m no coffeeologist, however I believe it was good! I got it without the sugar syrup, just a little cream too.

I am at the flight terminal much more than a pilot these days. I question if they’ll let me fly the airplane today…

Yesterday I was MIA from on the internet fun since I had one more phone crisis. keep in mind exactly how my phone was dying when I was in Pennsylvania? Well, I got a new one last week.

Then, the screen stopped working on Tuesday night!

So, yesterday I had to go on a wild phone chase to purchase a new one. I was thisclose to getting the iPhone. however after hitting up three stores, including Costco where the man was very practical as well as well-informed I am going to provide the S4 one more whirl.

I am quite sure it was a ‘bad’ phone, however if this gives me problems I’m going to other side… iPhoneville.

 

The damaged phone took the worst photos as well as so far these seem a great deal much better quality. ideally this issue is solved!

In addition to my phone breaking I had a long listing of To Dos… packing, deadline, making my costume, trying not to have a anxious breakdown… (The Costco man discussed that I looked depressed, ouch.)

Anyway. now I am on a flight headed to Florida. as well as I totally recognize all of those are “first world problems” as well as I am lucky to have them. even though I was stressed about my phone as well as the money it would take to replace it I try to remind myself, “You don’t have genuine problems, your household is healthy.” when I’m on the verge of losing it.

I likewise make myself feel much better by binge eating cereal pie.

When I was done getting a new phone, packing, making a costume, washing clothes… I chose to make a pie. #random

I purchased a pie crust from the store when I was hunting for costume supplies so it was easy. Roll crust. Chop apples, toss is cinnamon as well as sugar. put pie together. Bake. Eat. (picture coming when I figure out this new phone tethering situation)

Of interest: Oldest lady to Camiseta PSV Eindhoven surface nyc Marathon died the next day. I don’t even understand her, however I like her.

Holiday half Marathon Giveaway

now that my 6 races Camiseta Feyenoord in 6 weeks are over I need a new fix. I spent a little time this weekend looking for a race to do after this weekend’s Santa to the Sea Half.

I Camiseta Flamengo actually ran this race two years ago and had a terrific time! This really is an optimal time of year for running temperature-wise and cookies-everywhere-so-you-should-be-well-fueled-wise.

The race starts and ends at the LA Fairplex in Pomona. So, it’s a terrific central location for all my southern California readers/runners! There is a 5k Run/Walk on Saturday December 14th too.

You can check out the course here. part of it goes through Bonelli regional Park, which is pretty!

Both Santa to Sea and the holiday half are collecting toys for toys for Tots! Please bring an unwrapped toy to donate on race day if you are able. It’s a really terrific cause and today is #GivingTuesday so I thought I’d throw out a reminder!

It’s odd to be home for the first time in weeks and weeks. I keep feeling like I’m meant to be somewhere running or eating or repeating.

It’s kinda sad actually, Camiseta Real Betis Balompie I wish I was running a race this weekend! keeps me busy and delighted and crazy. just like I like it.

Instead of a race I treated myself to a great lil walk with my head motion pictures and celebrated Pancake Sunday!

I gotten Camiseta Feyenoord this Gluten complimentary Pancake mix a while back out of curiosity/because it was on sale and the other kind wasn’t (same as that tragic pizza dough). I am a sucka for a sale.

Anyway.

One bad thing about gluten complimentary food is it typically has less fiber than whole grain versions. This is no bueno, you gotta keep it regular people – especially when you’re running races hello! So, when a rep from Benefiber contacted me  to use their powder I knew I wanted to use it in a few dishes I make that are lacking in the fiber department.

The other night I made breakfast for dinner with Chilaquiles. I used corn tortillas, eggs and TJ’s spinach dip. Chop tortillas. cook ‘em up.

Mix eggs & dash of milk (this is where I added a serving of Benefiber). Cook. add Spinach dip. Done. I thought it was amazing.

This morning I cooked up the pancake mix according to package directions and added a serving of the powder. (You can’t taste it at all.)

I made one of the pancakes a savory version with Smokey Bacon Cheddar that Cabot sent me. Um. I’m not a big bacon person but my family thought it was epic.

Pancake Sunday. You’re doing it right.
